Caramelized Onion Flatbreads

Savory flatbread that can be baked in the skillen and under the broiler.


  • 2 tablespoons oil (olive oil)
  • 2 cups sliced yellow onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3/4 cup white whole-wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons oil, divided (extra-virgin olive oil)
  • 1/3 cup onions, caramelized (Prepared from ingredients above.)
  • Flaky sea salt (for garnish – optional)
