Warming or refreshing this is a delicious tea!
I boiled the kumquats after having pressed out the juice for about 10 minutes, after this I added white sugar.
Next time I will try with brown sugar and perhaps with green tea!
This recipe came at the right moment as now we have a few kumquats on our mini tree in the pot. I’m really glad tried this recipe as this is a great was to use the kumquats.
Tip; after using the fruits for the tea, reserve the peel, chop and freeze it. You will use this for additions to many desserts!
- 10 kumquats
- 1 l water
- honey or sugar (optional)
