Turkish Pomegranate Molasses Salad Dressing

This is wonderful dressing for green salads and much more!
In my case my greens were zucchini and green pepper. I still had some pomegranate seeds so I added some to the salad as well. 
For the dressing I used all the ingredients including the sumac and the dried mint, both from a Turkish shop 🙂 !
The pomegranate molasses is perfect to balance the sourness of the lemon juice, vinegar and sumac!
Letting the sauce sit for about one hours makes turn it even more delicious!

Ingredients:

1/4 can(s)lemon juice (fresh)
1/4 colive oil
1/4 cbalsamic vinegar
1/4 cpomegranate molasses
1 clovegarlic, minced
1/2 tspdried mint
1/2 tspsumac (optional)
1/2 tspsalt
1/2 mediumred onion, finely chopped
ground black pepper, to taste

Quick and easy! A delicious sauce you will enjoy with different Japanese dishes for a special touch.

I did not add water to this preparation, but just before using it this is need to give the desired thickness. Stir well before serving!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons wasabi paste
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • cold water as needed

Inihaw Marinade (Filipino Grilling Marinade)

Very simple and quick recipe with great result! I marinated the chicken for a few hours and I grilled it on charcoal for a few minutes on both sides and I let it sit for about 10 minutes before enjoying! And how good and tender it was! Really delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 c soy sauce
  • 5/8 c lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder (not salt)
  • 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
